Peanuts are a legume, not a nut. Our peanuts are certified organic and are sourced from small farmers in northern NSW or Queensland. I prefer to source the freshest peanuts from small growers I know and trust. I personally have spoken to the farms I source from.
Peanuts contain the macronutrients of protein-carbohydrate and fibre. They contain monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and saturated fats. These are the good fats that the body needs for optimal health. Unfortunately, many nuts used in nut butter production are not fresh and hence their fat content may become rancid, which is harmful to the body. Peanuts also contain the minerals potassium, phosphorous magnesium, calcium, sodium, iron and zinc. These minerals are required for many body functions.

Organic coconut oil, chosen for its antimicrobial and antifungal properties. Coconut oil acts as a natural preservative, it gives the right texture and mouthfeel to our nut butter. A pinch of sea salt as salt brings out the true flavour of the nuts. You can’t have nuts without a bit of salt. Cayenne pepper, just a pinch is added to achieve the desired heat in tasty and unique peanut butter which has the flavours of Thailand embedded in it. Food grade essential oils are used to balance the citrus zing of our nut butter.
